Casa Mendoza is a beautiful 3/4 bedroom villa, very quietly situated on the slope of a mountain with a beautiful view. The nearby village of Comares and the hamlet of Los Ventoros are within walking distance or just a few minutes by car.
The seaside town of Torre del mare is a 30-minute drive away.
The house has high vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans which provide a pleasant temperature in the summer.
The expansive lower terrace offers all day sun and a pool to cool off in, while the covered upper terrace provides welcome shade.
From every terrace you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes.
Inside, in the living room there is an open modern kitchen with all amenities such as a ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with spacious 3 compartment freezer and a dishwasher. There is an English coffee machine and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine.
In the cooler months you can use the pellet stove.
The house provides a perfect base for exploring Andalusia and is an ideal location for walking, bird watching, stargazing, horse riding and cycling.
The coast is a 35 minute drive where you can enjoy an abundance of beaches and amenities. There are also 3 National Parks and Nature Reserves within an hour's drive of the property. The cities of Granada, Ronda, Malaga and Seville can be visited in a day trip.
Notes on accommodation:
The house is ideally designed to comfortably accommodate 6 people.
Bedroom 4 is closed for private but can optionally be used for cot. There is a small and a large sofa bed so that an extra 1 or 2 children can spend the night here.

There is a spacious 7x4m private swimming pool with 6 sun loungers and 2 outdoor seating.
The upper terrace has a large dining table with 6 chairs (+ 4 extra folding chairs if necessary). There is also a wooden table with 4 chairs which can be added.
There is also a large modern wicker corner sofa with plenty of cushions and bedspreads at one end and a smaller modern wicker sofa at the other end of the terrace.
There is a parking/turning area at the bottom of the driveway large enough for 2 cars. A third car can remain in the private driveway.
Casa Mendoza is easily accessible from the main road (800m) via a dirt road. Any car can drive on this road without any problems even at night._The last bit is private paved concrete driveway.
Casa Mendoza has Internet and WIFI suitable for streaming. There is a Google Chromecast available.
The reception is done by the house manager who is available 24 hours a day for all your questions.
